2025 marks the 50th anniversary of women’s integration into the US Navy Diving community, a journey marked by the resilient spirit shared by all Navy Divers. Since Donna Tobias became the first woman Deep Sea Diver upon graduating from Second Class Dive School in Little Creek, VA, on March 14, 1975, women have played an increasingly crucial role in US Navy Diving over the last fifty years.

THANK YOU to all those who joined us in commemorating the distinguished history of more than 300 women who exemplify the standards required to become a US Navy Diver. Our 50th Anniversary of Women Navy Divers exhibit and celebratory reunion dinner were both a smashing success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support! HOOYAH!
